Susan & Family,
I am a distant cousin of Mike, my father was Joseph Ockman of Reserve, my grandmother Antonia Ockman. The last time I saw Mike was the day you and he were married, I was younger and the family lost touch. I read his obit on Monday and wanted to express my sympathy to you. I only have memories of him as a teenager and young adult but remember him as always having a smile on his face.

Susan,
Mike was an outstanding soldier, brave and courageous. He did not let his battle injuries hold him back in anything he chose to do in life. To the very end, he fought the good fight.
