Mildred Fleming Obituary

A homemaker and a resident and native of Vacherie, she died at 3:42 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2008, at her home. She was 82. Visiting at Highway Baptist Church, Vacherie, on Tuesday, Dec. 30, from 8 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Dr. Wesley Brown. Interment in the church cemetery. Survived by two daughters, Faye Gordon and Sandra and her husband, the Rev. Adam Landry; a son, William Fleming Sr. and wife Fabiola; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, Sampson and Emma Carey; husband, Sherman Fleming; and children, Sherman Jr. and Herman Fleming. Arrangements by The Baloney Funeral Home, Garyville.
