What a great gift we had for such a long time, in Father Than. He was a true blessing for all of us who knew him. May your family find peace at this time.

We are broken-hearted that we can no longer hold and hug our friend, Than Vu. We pray for his family who grieve for him deeply. Yet we know he is in heaven waiting for us. His life is a living example of how to live and how to die. We will work daily to keep his memory alive with our own lives. We thank the Lord that he no longer suffers but now enjoys the peace and happiness of heaven. He also continues to be someone we can talk to and ask for his prayers in our lives. We loved you, dear Than, when you were with us and we look forward to the day when we can all be with you. Bless you, dear friend.

Fr. Than, Thank you for giving so much of yourself to so many of us. You're a great priest, a wonderful man, and a very dear friend. A part of my broken heart is with you and I will miss you so much. It is only now that I found out, you are the reason my husband returned to the church. But he told you this long ago. Rest in God's heavenly peace my friend. My love and prayers to Fr. Than's family. We send our Condolences to the Family of Fr. Thanh Vu from St.Anthony of Padua and Le Van Phung Parish. Our brother have passed to a better life. He was surely a disciple of God who let his light shine before men. He shared all the love and compassion of Christ with whomever he met. Now, surely he will be missed by us all and we have good memories of him in our hearts. May he rest in eternal peace.

I can only imagine what it was like for you to stand face to face with your Heavenly Father and hear him say, "well done thy good and faithful servent".
You were my priest at Immaculate Conception in DS back in the 80's. You were an awesome man of God, with such a sweet spirit and heart to serve everyone.

We've lost a true hero of the Catholic community. Fr. Than, with his humor, humility, grace, and kindness, touched my heart in ways he never knew. But I will continue to be inspired by him for years to come. While my heart is broken with sadness, I'm so thankful to have been touched by his life on earth. Rest in Peace, Father.
