Ruby K. Gilmore

Ruby K. Gilmore, a loving mother, grandmother, sister, mother-in-law, and aunt went to her eternal home on October 28, 2022 at the age of 97. She was a native of Franklin Parish, LA and a resident of Walker, LA. She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, George and Addie Kincaid; her husband of 58 years, Russell E. Gilmore; son, Delton E. Gilmore (Bootsy); 2 brothers, one sister, one grandson, and two great-granddaughters. She is survived by her daughter, Tammy Rivett, husband Joe; son, Ronald Gilmore (Bobo), wife Stella; daughter-in-law, Melanie G. Moore; sister, Ida V. Thomas; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at Resthaven Gardens of Memory at 12:00 PM on Monday, October 31, 2022. Pallbearers will be Bret Gilmore, Blake Gilmore, Ronald Gilmore, Jr., Austin Gilmore, Nicole Elmore, and Stephen Elmore. Special thanks to family friend Juanice Bacon and St. Joseph's Hospice Carpenter House staff for the great care and loving support. Donations can be made to the Carpenter House.
