James McMurry Obituary
LAWRENCEBURG
James Warren McMurry, 80, of Lawrenceburg, passed away on July 17, 2025. He was the son of the late Clellan and Evelyn Houchin McMurry.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mary Sparrow McMurry; children, Doug McMurry (Nancy), Missy Luttrell, Stephen McMurry (Kelley) and Scott Joslin; grandchildren, Kellie Jones (Cory), Clellan McMurry (Lane), Russell Luttrell, Jensen McMurry and Travis McMurry; great-granddaughter, Caroline Jones; his sister-in-law Barb Bryant; brothers in-law Allen Sparrow (Beverly) and David Sparrow (Michael); also many nieces, nephews, a cousin and a host of great friends.
He was preceded in death by his son-in-law Jim Luttrell and granddaughter Faith Luttrell.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 21, 2025, from 5-8 p.m. at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home and after 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11a.m. on Monday, July 21 at First Christian Church in Lawrenceburg. Rev. Jim Wheeler and Donnie Shelton will officiate. Burial will be in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.
