Blair Leroy Mutimer Jr.

1941 - 2022

Entered into rest on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, Blair L. "Roy" Mutimer, Jr., 81, loving husband of 59 years to Barbara Diamond Mutimer.

Roy was a native and lifelong resident of Augusta, GA. He was a founding member of Blair Construction, a family business. He was a jack of all trades who was passionate about his work and generous with his time. In his spare time, Roy enjoyed wood working, ammunition making, "kite flying," and seeing a project through from start to finish. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who adored his family.

Family members in addition to his wife include his three children: Valerie Mutimer Beasley (the late Mark), Blair L. "Roy" Mutimer III (Carolyn), and Melissa Mutimer Jamison (Troy); grandchildren: Blair L. Mutimer IV (Anna), Daniel Brandt Beasley, Taylor Mutimer Bush (Jonathan), Eric Vincent Jamison, and Dylan Andrew Jamison; great-grandchildren: Lillie, Blair V, Henry, and Samuel; brother: Bill Mutimer (Janice); and many other loving family members. He is preceded in death by his parents: Blair L. Mutimer, Sr. and Lillie B. Mutimer; and his sisters: Merle Taylor and Carol Lanning.
