Got to see Dr. Yeh for appointment and just found out today she had died. So sorry I didn´t know about this. She was a compassionate caring doctor. She took her time with me. I am sure she touch many people. God bless her family. She is a wonderful person.

I am so sorry to hear this, I just heard.
My daughter at 20 years old had a very rare terminal cancer. Dr. Yeh and her team did a 12 1/2 hour surgery. Loved her. Very good Dr.

Dr yeh saved my life. She gave me a great option and my breast cancer is gone. She was my surgeon. I don't think I could have done the biopsies and scan without her as .y Dr. She had a gift and it was to be the kindest and best Dr I've had the pleasure of knowing . Gone too soon but I'm so glad I got to know you and you were my Dr.

How saddened I am to learn of Dr. Yeh´s passing. She was an incredible source of support before during and after several very invasive surgeries. Her dedication to her patients´ welfare extended well beyond the operating room. She will be truly missed. May she rest in peace and thoughts and prayers go out to her family

I shall never forget the kindness and concern Doctor Yeh expressed to me during a most difficult time in my life shortly after the death of my wife. During my appointment for pre-surgery she was to perform Doctor Yeh took time to talk with me as she expressed her concern for me in the loss of my wife. Doctor Yeh´s kindness helped me through a most difficult time in my life and I shall never forget what she had meant to me.

I´m still in disbelief and devastated by the passing of Dr.Yeh. Being diagnosed by her last year with breast cancer was rough for me. She was the one to look me in the face and said "you´re going to be okay, but you´re going to have to fight". She made sure to contact me even on while she took a vacation to check on me and provide me with information about my diagnosis. She was the first physician to operate on me. She had just performed my double mastectomy and I saw her prior at my post op appt. and she have me great news and told me to go celebrate. She was an awesome, loving and caring physician. I will miss you forever Dr.Yeh. I would like to extend my deepest condolences to her family and work family especially Gabby and Nell who were both awesome at assisting in my care as well.

I was a nurse at MCG since 1988 and Dr. Yeh was a very kind and generous person. She always call the nurses by their first name. She was very supportive to all the staff at the Medical College of Augusta. She will be missed. She was a honest and sincere person. God has her now. Love Mary Alston.

My deepest sympathies to Karen´s family. Family was so very important to her. I was very sad to hear of Karen´s death. She was an incredible woman, surgeon, teacher, and mentor. I knew her during her General Surgery Residency at MCG and later when she returned to MCG as an attending. As a resident she was always friendly, kind, and respectful to the nursing staff, always smiling. It was exciting and comforting when she returned as a Surgical Oncology Attending and hadn´t changed. When Karen was the Surgeon in my room it was going to be a good day. I have worked with hundreds of Surgery Residents over the years, many I no longer remember the names of, and she has always remained one of my favorites. Karen´s generation of female Surgeons had a much more difficult time than today´s. Many felt they had to be tougher and more aggressive to prove themselves. Not Karen. She remained true to her self. She is the gold standard. I left MCG before she went into private practice but ran in to her occasionally over the years. She always took time to chat about our MCG days and our families. She took care of several of my family members always making them feel as if they were the most important person. When I had a possible oncologic diagnosis, requiring a surgery consult I saw Karen without question or hesitation. Thankfully it was benign. She will be missed greatly.

I just learned of Karen´s passing and feel so stunned and sad. She was an intelligent, compassionate and generous woman. I was privileged to volunteer with her at ballet and Davidson. Unfailingly helpful and kind, she loved Katy Frost and Thomas. She talked about them all the time and looked for ways to support and encourage them. Karen made the world a better place and she will be sorely missed. Please accept my condolences.

Praise God for the life Dr.Yeh shared with us. My heart aches for the life she departed and rejoices that she has gained her angel wings. As a patient, Dr. Yeh removed one of the larger thyroid goiters of her career. It weighed 217 grams (6x the norm). The next morning on rounds, she got a chuckle when I told her I was happy to be doing well and even happier that she didn´t charge by the gram! Undoubtedly, we all will miss her warmth, her genuine caring nature, and her professionalism.

My heartfelt condolences to Dr Yeh´s family, colleagues, and friends on the passing of a most kindly and intuitive person. Dr Yeh was my surgeon during my onset of breast cancer. She calmed my terror and provided all of the information that my family and I needed to give me the courage to select surgery as my choice of treatment. She held me in as much high regard as I did her. I am sure all her patients will say the same. I am so grateful for her guidance and wisdom that carried me through the most difficult journey of my life. Thank you Dr Yeh and may your soul find peace and your family be comforted by the many who no doubt will surround them with love. I am one of them. I loved her too.

My condolences go out to Katy Frost and Thomas, her sister, and parents. Dr. Yeh was one of the best doctors I had the pleasure to know, work with and be a patient of myself. We worked together for 17 years and I loved her. She took care of my sister and friends. She was compassionate and gave back to her community. She was in my life for many years, she taught me so much, she was graceful and compassionate and loved her children. She was an excellent mother, sister and daughter and she cared deeply for her patients. I am deeply saddened to hear of her passing but I know she is singing with the angels.

I met Dr. Yeh for the first time in May following an MRI that indicated a high likelihood of cancer. I was terrified, but Dr. Yeh was incredible-she walked me through the biopsy and was a very calming, positive presence. She took time with my husband and I to answer questions, cover all of the information, and treat me like a PERSON she cared about helping. You don´t find that often anymore. I´m broken hearted to hear of her passing. She was a true blessing to so may people. My love, thoughts, and prayers are with her family.

I am saddened to know Dr. Yeh has left us far too soon. She was truly a gifted doctor. Her ability to comfort a patient far exceeded her outstanding surgical skills. Her quiet calm and caring manner made me feel that there was nothing we couldn´t face together. Simply put, she was the best. My condolences go out to her family but also to the CSRA. We have lost a true healer.

Dr. Karen Yeh was my oncology surgeon when I was diagnosed with a parathyroid tumor. She was so compassionate and confident and competent, and she really put my husband and me at ease. Clearly she has touched so many lives. My deepest condolences to the family and friends who loved her. May her memory be a blessing.

Dr. Yeh was my surgeon back in `2000. Even though I didn´t have cancer, I was referred to her because my surgery was going to be very difficult and was told she was the best one to do it. I was nervous but her calming manner put me at ease. I will never forget how happy she was when she walked to the door if my hospital room with a resident beside her because she didn´t know if I would ever be able to talk again since she had to cause some trauma to my vocal cords. Of course I had no idea about that until then. She had an infectious smile with tears in her eyes telling me that news. This world lost an amazing gentle doctor!

Karen, you will greatly missed! Not only were you my Dr. since 2005, but you became my friend. I have so many wonderful memories of you and our conversation sometimes would be endless.My favorite memory was the day my mom and I came in the office to get my final diagnosis in 2010 when you leaned in to hand me tissue and I said I´m fine, but you smiled and replied, "this is not for you it´s for your mother." Your heart was so pure and you truly had compassion for your patients. Thank you for your friendship and for also allowing me to rent your beautiful cottage to guest for Masters and Iron Man. I look forward to the day we meet again in Heaven. I will be praying for your children and family.

I was heartbroken to hear of the passing of Dr. Yeh and very sorry for your loss. She was my Oncologist since 2012. She performed both my surgeries (2012 and 2023). She explained everything to my husband and myself in detail and told me not to worry, everything will be ok. She was sweet, soft spoken, kind and caring.
