David Rogers Obituary

David M. Rogers, 64, a long-time resident of Pasadena, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 29th, 2025. Born on May 24th, 1960, in Baltimore, Maryland, David was raised in Glen Burnie and spent the last 28 years of his life in Pasadena. David was a dedicated surveyor, a profession he excelled in after graduating from Andover High School in 1978. His precise skills and keen eye defined his career, but it was his warm heart and generous spirit that defined his life. David found immense joy in spoiling his daughter Allyson and his furry friend, Finn, making beautiful memories that will be cherished forever. His love for his family was unwavering and deeply reciprocated by those fortunate enough to know him. He is survived by his beloved wife, Karen J. Rogers of Pasadena, MD, his loving daughter, Allyson Rogers, and his caring brothers, Tony Rogers and Tim Rogers. His parents, Kenneth M. Rogers and Mary Ruth Rogers, preceded him in death but left a legacy of love and strength that David carried forward. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during an evening visitation at Stallings Funeral Home in Pasadena, Maryland, on Sunday, May 4th, 2025, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A funeral service to celebrate David's life will be held at the same location on Monday, May 5th, 2025, at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in David's honor to the American Lung Association by clicking HERE, an organization close to his heart. David's gentle spirit and kind soul will be missed by all who knew him, but his legacy of love and warmth will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

My deepest sympathy to Dave´s family and friends in your time of sorrow. I was friends with Dave whilst attending North Glen, Lindale and Andover, later becoming concert/partying buddies. After graduation, real life took over and I lost contact with him, never saw him at Class Reunions either. I attempted to reach him on Classmates to no avail. We had quite some adventures back then, good stories and good times. I am shocked to find out about this sad news only recently. Dave, I hope you had a good life as you take your rest, maybe I´ll see you again?
