Eric Anderson Obituary

On Thursday, June 27, 2024, Eric Scott Anderson of Sparrows Point, MD passed away peacefully with family by his side.  Husband of Terry McMullen-Anderson, and father of Nathaniel S. Anderson.  Beloved son and brother of Robert N. Anderson and Michelle L. and Karen K. Anderson.  Eric was preceded in death by his mother; Richarda L. Fitzwater Anderson.

Born in Baltimore, MD and raised in Arnold, MD, Eric loved hard rock and country music, fast cars, going to car shows, watching Nascar races, and attending monster truck events with his son.  He enjoyed the outdoors whether that was fishing with his dad in his early years, hanging with his friends in his teens, or camping with his family as an adult.  He was a scout dad and some of his fondest memories were times he spent with his son and the Boy Scouts camping.  Eric was a jovial man, always smiling and always taking time to talk to people and make them laugh.  If you needed help, you just asked, and he found a way to be there.  While all the above made him happy.  Eric’s son Nathaniel is what he is most proud of.  Nathaniel brought him joy and he considered him God’s greatest blessing.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made in his name to Mission MSA (Mission Multiple System Atrophy), missionmsa.org.

A Celebration of Life Services will be held at Downs Park, in the Chesapeake Room, 8311 John Downs Loop, Pasadena, MD 21122 on Saturday, September 28, 2024 from 11 am - 3 pm.
