Evelyn Ann "Sissy" Decker, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on September 4, 2025, at the age of 61. Born on August 9, 1964, in Maryland, Evelyn nurtured a deep love for her family, friends, and the community around her.
Evelyn is survived by her devoted husband, Jim Decker, and their two sons, Lil' Jimmy and his wife Erica, and Matthew and his wife Nadra. She was the cherished grandmother of Gunner Rosalie Decker, LJ (James IV) Decker, Riggs Decker and step grandson Preston Mattlin. Evelyn was also a cherished sister-in-law to Kim West and a loving aunt to her nephews, Andrew and Stephen West. She was predeceased by her parents, Ronnie and Sandra Crisp, and leaves behind three brothers, many cousins, and a host of grandpuppies that she adored.
In her free time, she loved to engage in activities that brought her joy, including BINGO, visiting casinos, four-wheeling at the family cabin in West Virginia, and the simple pleasures of boating and crabbing.
A loving spirit and a fierce advocate for family, Evelyn created lasting memories with those she loved. She will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her, her laugh resonating in their hearts forever.
A public viewing will be held at the Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk on September 11, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, where family and friends can come together to celebrate Evelyn's life. A funeral service will follow the viewing, beginning at 8PM. She will be laid to rest on Saturday, September 13th, 11:30 AM at Zion Cemetery, 210 Cemetery Lane, Bellefonte PA 16823.
