Geraldine M. Barkman

Geraldine "Gerri" Marie Barkman, 87, of Annapolis, MD passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2024. She was born on April 28, 1937, in Howard County, MD to the late John R. Streaker and Elsie Marie Drsata Streaker. Gerri was a homemaker for most of her life. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, walking her dog, and reading her Bible. She adored her grandchildren. She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law: Robyn D. and Alan Howlett of Annapolis, Donna M. Petroski of The Villages, FL and Judith K. and Gregory Vickers of Clarksville, GA; brother and sister-in-law John R. "Bob" and Gwen Streaker of Marriottsville; grandchildren: Larry Hogue, Rachael Kravchak and husband Matt, Stephanie Petroski, Michael Wallace and wife Misty, Sean Wallace and Melissa Wallace and great-grandchildren: Brooklyn Wallace, Katelyn Wallace, Violet Artz and Reed Petroski. She was predeceased by granddaughter Emily Hogue and siblings Stanley Streaker and Marjorie Krebs. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11am on Sunday, October 13, 2024, at Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Road, Sykesville where a funeral service will follow at 11am. Interment will be in Mt. View Cemetery, Marriottsville.
