Mary S. Johnson

Mary Stacy Johnson, 93, of Rogersville, TN, formerly of Sykesville, MD, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 6, 2025, at home. She was born on March 4, 1932, in Sneedville, TN to the late Roy Sizemore and Julia Flanagan Sizemore. She was the wife of the late Harold Joseph Johnson who died in 1976. Mary was born in Sneedville, TN where she spent her younger years before moving to Maryland. She was a homemaker for most of her life, not only raising her own daughter but helping raise her grandchildren. She loved spending time with her family and was always on the go. The only thing more important to her than family was her faith in God. She was a faithful member of the former Stoneyridge Missionary Baptist Church. She is survived by her loving daughter Audrey Livesay of Rogersville, TN; sisters Catherine Tew of Sykesville and Betty Rogers of Sykesville; grandchildren: Kerry Stapleton, Robert Livesay, Dean Livesay and Craig Livesay; great-grandchildren: Jonathan, Seth, Tori, Daren, Ashley, Colton, Haley and Japheth and great-grandchildren: Cody, Kaia, Allie, Lincoln, Liam and Leland. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by siblings: Ernest Sizemore, Bud Sizemore, Ruby Slack, Cleo Kinsler, Dora Livesay and Ann "Sucky" Mabe. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 PM on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, Sykesville, MD and again on Monday, October 13, 2025, from 10 to 11 AM followed by a funeral service at the funeral home with Rev.
