Robert Dellinger Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert J. Dellinger Sr, a devoted husband, loving father, and beloved grandfather, at the age of 90. Robert, a retired engineer working for the railroad, was born on November 11, 1933, in MD.
Robert will be forever cherished by his beloved wife Shirley Dellinger, his children Gary Dellinger Sr and his wife Michelle and Kathy Cross and her husband Donald, and his grandchildren Gary Dellinger Jr and his wife Jen, Michael Dellinger, Maria Dellinger, Julie Dellinger, Donald Cross and his wife Nicole, Shannon Miller and her husband Luke and Anthony Cross and his wife Angie. Robert is also survived by a host of loving great-grandchildren and family. He was preceded in death by his son, Robert Dellinger Jr., who no doubt welcomed him with open arms into eternal peace.
In honor of his life, a public viewing will be held at Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk, 7110 Sollers Point Road, on Monday, September 9, 2024, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday September 10, 2024, at 10:00 am. A Graveside Service will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Gardens.
