Rosemarie Jane Renshaw (née Janscar), beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 1st, 2025, at the age of 94. Born on Saturday, July 11th, 1931, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Rosemarie's long life was marked by love, devotion, and kindness to all who knew her.
Rosemarie spent her formative years in Pittsburgh, where she graduated in 1949, setting the foundation for a life characterized by dedication and service. Rosemarie pursued a fulfilling career as a hospital administrator, a role in which she touched countless lives with her unwavering commitment and compassion.
In her personal life, Rosemarie was a fervent Orioles Baseball fan and found immense joy in spending quality time with her cherished grandchildren. She resided in Florida for over 20 years before spending her final two decades in Odenton, Maryland. Earlier in her life, she was also a resident of Glen Burnie, Maryland, for several years.
Rosemarie was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Andrew Francis Janscar and Marie Janscar, her son Bennett Renshaw, and her siblings: Helen, Patricia, Jane, Joseph, Paul, John, and Andrew, Jr. Her strength and spirit live on in those she leaves behind, including her sons: Steven Renshaw and wife Linda, Paul Renshaw and wife Connie, and Marty Renshaw and wife Debbie. She is also survived by her sister, Elizabeth Scurlock; her grandchildren, Cati Renshaw and husband Goran, Paul Renshaw and wife Monzie; and one great-grandson, Brennan Ayres. Rosemarie's memory will also be cherished by her many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Rosemarie's life and legacy at a Memorial Service on Thursday, August 7th, 2025, at 1:00 pm, held at Stallings Funeral Home in Pasadena, Maryland. There will be an afternoon visitation from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm on the same day, providing an opportunity to gather in remembrance and gratitude for a life well-lived.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a
charity of your choice, reflecting Rosemarie's generous spirit and commitment to helping others.
Rosemarie's gentle heart, wisdom, and laughter enriched the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed, and her memory will forever remain a source of inspiration and love.
