Sandra May Eash, age 83, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 23, 2026.
Born in
Johnstown, Pennsylvania, on October 5, 1942, she was the daughter of Daphno "Clark" Fronzoli and Ellen (Hanson) Fronzoli. She was the beloved widow of David Eash, with whom she shared 63 years of marriage.
Sandy and Dave married and immediately began their family. They moved to the DMV area, where Sandy was a devoted homemaker and raised their three sons, Darren, Lynn, and Cris. She lovingly supported-and nervously cheered on-her boys through their hobbies and careers racing go-karts and sprint cars.
She was a dedicated volunteer at Howard County General Hospital, serving in the recovery room every Wednesday for more than 20 years. At the time of her retirement from this volunteer position, she held the record for the most volunteer hours ever given by an individual.
She was "Grams" to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and treasured every moment spent with them. She was Aunt Sandy to many nieces and nephews and a godmother to several as well.
Sandy enjoyed spending time with her sisters and sister-in-law, Doris, particularly on their annual trips to Ocean City, Maryland, and New York City. She and Dave also loved traveling together, whether to a Caribbean island or a faraway country.
She hosted many family gatherings and held legendary Christmas parties for years. Sandy was also an active and faithful member of her church throughout her life.
She is now at peace with her beloved husband, Dave-exactly where she longed to be.
Surviving are her sons and daughters-in-law: Darren and Jennifer Eash, Lynn and Amber Eash, and Cris and Amy Eash; siblings and spouses: Tarris and Carol Fronzoli, Timmy and Kathy Fronzoli, Louann and Gary Livengood, and Keri and Jim Benton; grandchildren and spouses: Amanda and Ryan Sullivan, Gregory Eash, Ashton and Mike Sullivan, Annalee Eash and Andy Fulmer, Connor and Zoe Eash, David and Lexi Eash, and Haley and Jordan Conaway; and great-grandchildren: Jimmy and Jackie Sullivan, and Finley and Sawyer Sullivan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dave Eash, and her sister, Carol Fronzoli.
