Sharon Alexandra Beaty, 60, of Sykesville, MD went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 2, 2025, surrounded by her family and close friends.
She was born on January 23, 1964, in Baltimore, MD, to the late Raymond Hunter Beaty and Edith Nancy Euler Beaty.
Sharon grew up on the family farm where she excelled in horse and pony shows during her youth and won multiple Maryland Pony Show Championships. She was very ambitious and began working as soon as she was old enough to have a job. She graduated from Liberty High School in the Class of 1982 and continued on to attend business school. Upon graduation she began a long, successful career working as a stenographer. She met people from all walks of life through her profession and had an appreciation for all people. She enjoyed hosting parties, playing cards and pool, snow days, traveling, trips to the beach and most importantly, time spent with family and friends. Sharon will always be remembered as the life of the party!
She is survived by her siblings: Susan Beaty Rash and husband, Ryan, H. Todd Beaty and wife Vickie and Heidi Beaty Condon and husband Dion. She is also survived by nieces and nephews: Jennifer Rash McGrew and fiancé Brian Blank, Jessica Beaty and fiancé Greg Hastings, Zachery Beaty, Heather Condon Chopper and husband Brandon, Megan Condon Brandt and partner Scott Davis, Justin and Syvannah Condon. Sharon is also survived by great-nieces and nephews: Evan McGrew and fiancé Emily Utz, Alexis McGrew and fiancé Jeremiah Sicinski, Alyssa Simms and Noah Hastings, Mya and Olivia Brandt and Ellison Chopper. She is survived by great-great nieces: Raelynn and Paisley Sicinski. Sharon is also survived by her many adored cousins and close friends, especially her life-long friend, Cindy Plank and "Noodle," who both stood by her side to the end.
The graveside service will be held at 10am Thursday, January 9, 2025, at Mt. Olive United Methodist Church Cemetery, 5115 Old Court Rd. Randallstown, MD 21133, officiated by Pastor Paul Andrews from Faith Family Church in Finksburg, MD. The procession will gather at 9:20am at Haight Funeral Home parking lot or guests can meet at the cemetery.
Sharon's family welcomes friends to celebrate her life at 11:30 am at Salerno's Catering Hall, 1043 Liberty Rd, Eldersburg. Those desiring may send flowers to the hall between 10:30 and 11:30am Jan. 9 or donate to the
charity of your choice.
