Oleva Zurita Meadors

Oleva Zurita Meadors, 64, of Brownstown, died at 8 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009, at her residence. She was a member of Brownstown Nazarene Church and a homemaker. She was born Jan. 25, 1945, in Marion County, a daughter of the late John Albert and Dorothy Z. Nowland Pray. She married Lawrence Meadors Nov. 4, 1961, at Brownstown, and he survives. Also surviving are four sons, Timothy J. Meadors of Freetown, Tony (Gail) Meadors of Arizona, and Todd D. Meadors and Thomas A. Meadors, both of Brownstown; three daughters, Tracy J. Henrikson of Seymour, Tina (Harold) Wheeler of Vallonia, and Tamara (Boyd) Brewer of Brownstown; two brothers, Ron (Lydia) Pray and Jerry (Sandy) Pray, both of Seymour; 13 grandchildren, Brandon, Kyle, and Kira Boling, Candace, Jessica, and Stephen Henrikson, Mercedes, Brittney, Kaula, and Sara-Beth Meadors, Brittnay and Zachary Taylor, and Kevin Reynolds; and four great-grandchildren, Sheyenne Moore, Alana-Jo Hammett, Skyler Boling, and Ella Grayce Robinson. She was also preceded in death by a son, Thomas Joe Meadors; four brothers, Marvin, Gene, Bill, and Don; and a sister, Janet Benton. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 12, at Spurgeon Funeral Home, Brownstown, with Ben Durr officiating. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery, Brownstown.
