Shaylee Zike Obituary
She was born Sept. 10, 1993 in Seymour to Ronnie (Michelle) Zike of Freetown and Leisa Collins of Greenwood, and they survive.
Miss Zike had been baptized in the Lutheran Church. She worked for her father, Ronnie, at Elite Tree Service. She found enjoyment through skateboarding, traveling with her mother, camping, and being with her family. She viewed her life as an adventure and pursued her life with a passion in so many ways.
Other survivors include sister, LaJeanna Paige Collins; brother, Ashton Alan Zike; paternal grandmother, Susan Heller; paternal great-grandmother, Juanita M. Fee; maternal grandmother, Marilyn Collins; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She considered many of her friends to be family too.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Paul Zike; paternal step-grandfather, Randy Heller; paternal great-grandfather, Frank "Judge" Fee, Sr.; maternal grandfather, James Warren Collins; and maternal great-grandparents, Noble E. and Kathryn Weddell Nowland.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, May 18, at the Brownstown Church of the Nazarene, 616 W. Commerce St., Brownstown, with Scott Erwin officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery Brownstown.
Friends may call from 4 until 8 p.m. Thursday, May 17, and from 11 a.m. Friday until time of service.
Memorial donations will be applied toward expenses associated with a fitting memorial at the cemetery.
Winklepleck-Weesner Funeral Home, Brownstown, is in charge of arrangements.

Leisa & Paige, our hearts go out to both of you. You know how much we loved Shay and you guys. It is like we have lost a part of our family as well. So glad we got to make the trip down to see her this weekend. We will always remember all the good times we had over the years.
