Raymond Visconti Obituary

Raymond Visconti II

With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Raymond Anthony Visconti II, 34, on July 12, 2025. Though Ray's time with us was far too short, the impact he made will last forever. His legacy is one of Christian faith and many memories that will be treasured always.

Born in Brunswick on Nov. 7, 1990, Ray was raised in Brookman, off U.S. Highway 82. During his childhood, he often attended Marshes of Glynn Baptist Church with his family. Ray had a lifelong passion for cars - he found joy in racing his 1978 Camaro, upgrading his 1984 S10, and diving into countless automotive projects, especially modifying audio systems.

After graduating high school, he attended South Georgia Technical College, where he earned an associate's degree in auto collision repair. Ray treasured family vacations to Lake Blackshear and Daytona Beach. He was rarely seen without one of his beloved dogs riding shotgun. Whether he was cruising through town, burning tires or blasting music, Ray lived life with energy, heart and a love for the open road.

If you knew Ray, you knew warmth, laughter and a deep love for life that touched everyone around him. He carried his faith proudly and openly. His kind heart, magnetic spirit and genuine soul will be remembered by all who knew him.

He leaves behind his loving parents: his father, Raymond Visconti Sr. of Brunswick; his mother, Patricia Walker and stepfather, Benjamin Walker, both of Jasper; his cherished sister, Brandy Faircloth, best buddy nephew, Carson Hope and adored little niece, Abigale Faircloth, all of Blackshear; and an abundance of other family that love him dearly, aunts and uncles, Rocky and Helen Visconti, Flo and Tim Williamson, Donna Marshall and Julie and Jeffery Terrell; and numerous great-uncles, great-aunts and cousins throughout Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, Tennessee, New Jersey, and Colorado.

He is preceded in death by his beloved paternal grandparents, Adolpho "Papa V" Visconti of South Carolina and Carol "Granny V" Visconti of Brunswick; maternal grandparents, Charles "Papa" and Elouise "Grannie" Fagan and James "Granddaddy" and Hazel "Grandma Cookie" Fagan.

A celebration to honor Ray will be held Saturday July 19 at Marshes of Glynn Baptist Church. The family will receive friends for visitation at 9 a.m. followed by the service at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Harold Turner officiating. Interment will follow in East Palmetto Cemetery with Justin Hope, Carson Hope, Caleb Douglas, Hunter Douglas, Daniel Thomas, Paul Mulling, Ryan Fagan and Matthew Marshall serving as active pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Ray's memory to the Humane Society of South Coastal Georgia - honoring his deep love and compassion for animals.

Ray was a good student that i enjoyed teaching. He loved to work on cars, and he loved talking about burning rubber. He will be missed by his community and family.
