Ada Lou Shaw, 85, of Quitman, Arkansas, passed away on Dec. 10, 2024. She was born in Faulkner County on April 15, 1939, to the late Ralph and Ethel Webb.
Lou grew up most of her life in the Quitman area of Faulkner County and graduated from Quitman High School in 1957. Before retiring, Lou worked for Quitman Public Schools. She was a member of Church of God.
Lou was one of nine children who worked hard on the farm with her family. Her love of sewing taught by her Mother gave Lou the tools to be a master seamstress. She loved sewing, quilting, embroidery and cross stitch. In her earlier years, she spent most of her time in her flower gardens or canning her green beans her family loved. Her family was very special to her and her death will leave a void in her family that will never be replaced.
