Lyndon Miller Obituary

Lyndon Andrew Miller (Andy), 61, of Little Rock, passed away on Monday, March 9, 2026. He was born Nov. 11, 1964, to William Earl and Betty Sue Miller of Damascus, Arkansas. He grew up on his family dairy in the Martinville community alongside his siblings Alan and Christy. Andy was a very beloved son, brother, husband, father and friend. He was one of the good guys that everyone loved to have around. He loved his God, his family and his community and served them all well. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him, especially his hunting partner for life, Tommy Lynn Browning of Wooster, Arkansas. Andy was an active and avid sportsman and hunter and spent much of his time and treasure encouraging and teaching young Arkansans how to enjoy the sports safely. He was a founding member of the Youth Shooting Sports Program of the Arkansas Game & Fish Commission.

He graduated from Greenbrier High School in 1983 and went on to earn a degree in Agri Business from the University of Arkansas in 1987. He was a member of Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity.

He began his career at Arkansas Farm Bureau in 1987 as a safety director. Over nineteen years, he advanced through departments eventually becoming director of national governmental relations. He joined Southwestern Energy Company in 2005 as a director in the Community and Governmental Relations Department. In 2019, Flywheel Energy acquired Southwestern's Arkansas assets, and he became the company's senior director of governmental affairs.

Andy was an active member of the central Arkansas community. He served on the Executive Committee of the State Chamber of Commerce and chaired the PAC Committee for the Chamber. He was also on the Board of Directors of the Arkansas Game & Fish Foundation and the Board of Directors of the Quapaw Area Council Boy Scouts of America. He previously was a member of the board of the University of Arkansas Community College in Morrilton Foundation, as well as the board of the Conway Regional Hospital Foundation and the Heart of Arkansas United Way Board.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, parents and mother-in-law, Kaye Beavers. Andy is survived by his wife of 20 years, Paige Beavers Miller; his daughters Madeline Kaye Morehead (Tyler) and Allyson Blair Miller. He was "Big Bear" to his grandson, Mitchell Jay Morehead. He is also survived by his brother, Jeffery Alan, and his sister, Kelly Christine McMahan (Charles); his father-in-law, Charles Beavers, sisters-in-law Blair Beavers Evans (Scott) and Kristi Pennebaker. He was also loved by his nieces, Kelly Meek (Felix Therrien) of Montreal, Canada, Alyssa Johnson of Morrilton, Layne Pennebaker of Conway, Paige Garcia (Joel) of Little Rock and nephews Kyle Meek (Stefanie) of Conway and Charlie Evans (Marcy) of Nashville, Tennessee. He had numerous great nieces and nephews.
