Carlos Simpson Obituary
Carlos Alexander Simpson, 45, of Conway, Arkansas, affectionately known as "Los" by many, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, Dec. 12, 2024. He was born in Monticello, Arkansas (Coleman Community), to Rev. Johnnie Lee Simpson and Gwendolyn Dale Simpson.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Jennifer Simpson, of 18 years; sons, Malik Simpson and Cavan Simpson; father and mother, Rev. Johnnie Lee Simpson and Gwendolyn Dale Simpson; siblings: Marcus Simpson (Nichole), Lateria Phillips and Ambra Simpson; father and mother in-law, Darrell and Barbara Thomas; aunts and uncles: Tommie Simpson (Mae), Roy Lee Simpson (Beverly), Linda Simpson, Annette Gardener (Robert), Clemy Lambert, Roman Hutson, Slyvester Woodard, Kathy Woodard, Darlene Smith, Shirley (Zelmor) Dorris, Sandra Green, Leo Cummings (Veletta); brother and sister-in-laws: Alexander Thomas (Donna), Maria Adams (Michael), Stephanie Pickens (Adrian), Audrey Cooper (Marcus); nieces: Makyia Spencer, Meritza Spencer, Maliah Spencer, Maraeshia Simpson, Verleshia Simpson, Nadia Thomas, Netanya Adams, Ayanna Adams, Aliyah Pickens (Ja'van), Jadah Pickens, Miyah Pickens, Deisha Jolivette, Alexandria Jolivette, Kaitlyn Phillips; nephews: Trevous Simpson, Demarcus Berry, Terrence Phillips; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held 4-6 p.m., Friday, Dec. 20, 2024, at the funeral home. Celebration of life services will be held noon, Saturday, Dec. 21, 2024, at Mt. Gale Missionary Baptist Church, 8 Brannon Drive, Conway, Arkansas. Interment Sunday, Dec. 22, 2024, at Green Mount Cemetery (Coleman Community), Hwy 277, Monticello, Arkansas.
