Jeffery Wayne King

Jeffery Wayne King, age 56, of Vilonia, went to be with his Lord on Oct. 31, 2023. He was born Dec. 19, 1966, in Newport, Arkansas, to Dennis Wayne King and Joann Haner King. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Roy and Nora King and his maternal grandparents, Mertie and Rosie Haner. He graduated from Dollarway High School in Pine Bluff in 1985 and went on to graduate from Freewill Baptist Church College in 1990. He worked as a forklift operator for Saint Jean Industries in Heber Springs and attended Second Baptist Church in Conway. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, hiking and canoeing. He also enjoyed playing his guitar, reading his Bible, watching the Arkansas Razorbacks, going out to eat with family and watching movies. Jeff was a devoted father and loving son and brother who was always known for his smile and giving the best hugs.

He is survived by his parents, Dennis Wayne King and Joann Haner King; his son, Cory King; and his daughter, Madison Nora Okvath and her husband Levi; his sister, Sharon Holsted and her husband Patrick; his granddaughter, Ryleigh Okvath; one nephew, Jak Holsted; and a host of other family, friends and co-workers.
