Lawrence Starr Obituary

Lawrence Eldon Starr 72, of Conway, Arkansas went to be reunited with God and his mother and father Friday, June 17, 2016.
He was born August 26, 1943 at Mt. Vernon, Arkansas to Eldon Cecil and Carrie Cynthia (Rickett) Starr.
Lawrence was a very humorous man who could do or build anything. He was a graduate of Conway High School and attended UCA. He was a graduate of Capitol City Business College. He was in the Arkansas Army National Guard.
Lawrence was a building contractor for 40 years in Conway. He was a member of University Church of Christ. He served as a District 5 Justice of the Peace for many years in Faulkner County.
He was a member of the Roark Deer Camp. He loved to hunt and fish with his sons and grandchildren. He also loved to cook Bar-b-que chicken for his family. He also loved to spend time with his friends at the donut shop.
Lawrence is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Kathryn Starr, sons, Scott Starr and granddaughter, Leighana Starr, and Steve and Jennifer Starr and grandsons, Tyler and Blake Starr, three sisters, Carma and Al Allison, Margaret and Vince Elentri, and Brenda and Pat Griffith.
A special thank you to Dr. Randall Bolin, Dr. Mary Jo Shaver, and the nursing staff at Conway Regional Hospital for their wonderful care and to St. Vincent Hospital doctors and nursing staff of Little Rock for their loving care.
Pallbearers: Fred Langford, Ronnie Beene, Jim Roper, James Dockins, Greek Miller, and Robert Bryant.
Honorary Pallbearers: Rick Edwards, Paul Edwards, Steve Edwards, Linn Rickett, Charles Rickett, and Bob Morris.
Visitation will be 6:00-8:00pm Tuesday, June 21, 2016 and Funeral Service 1:00pm Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home Chapel Conway, Arkansas with Brother Jim Bob Baker officiating. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home Conway, Arkansas.
