Thinking of you, Kim and Tom. Alta made both Wendy and I laugh out loud, each and every day of the seven years we were your neighbors. I can still here her voice and see her expressions. I know losing a mom hurts deeply and I'm so sorry for your loss. We will be donating to the SPCA of Monterey County in your mom's name. Valerie & Wendy

I knew Alta since the 1st grade in Prunedale. She lived with her Grandma on Orchard Lane. We had so much fun together. My prayers are with her family.

It is hard to put into words what I will miss most about Alta. Even at her gruffest she always made me smile. She always told me exactly what I needed to hear, the truth, and in a no nonsense, loving manner. She loved her family and always spoke proudly of them. I will keep you (her family) in my prayers.
