I just watched an old Monday Night Football game between Seattle and Atlanta from 1979. Beverly did a few local newsbreaks during the game. She looked like a good reporter, doing her job. I'm sorry to see she's gone, but it looks like she had an interesting life.

I knew Beverly, in fact we dated when I was still in college and she first went to work for KATU in Portland, Or. One of my fondest memories of her was when we both dressed to the nines and went to see "Tosca", performed by Portland Opera at the Civic Auditorium. We did the ritz with dinner before and coffee with dessert after. She lived in this lovely little cottage in Oswego. She was the most brilliant, charming and lovely woman. In my mind I see her now, and she was then and is now, an angel. Charles [email protected]

I just learned of Beverly's passing.and am so sorry for your loss. I recently reconnected with her at our high school reunion. Beverly was my best friend from eighth grade through college. After I married and left Oregon, I always made a point to visit with Norma on my visits home. She would be full of stories about Beverly's adventures!
I was thrilled to see Beverly at the reunion! We spent the evening sharing stories of our families. She was so very proud of you and told me how talented you are in he construction field. She told me she would love to return to Monterey to be closer to you.
The world has lost a star and I am so sorry she is no longer writing about new and exciting ideas. Beverly will always have a special place in my heart.
