Salinas
Leonardo Melena, 75 passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2015 in Salinas. He was born February 17, 1940 in Mexico. Leonardo has lived in Salinas for the past 50 years. He worked as a supervisor with Dole Produce and also worked with his family at the Family's Restaurant "Taquitos" in Salinas.
He is survived by his wife, Hermelinda P. Melena, 4 Daughters, Norma Melena, Maria Elena Melena, Linda Sanchez, and Sandra Pierce, 5 Sons, Demetrio, Leonardo, and Seth Melena, Bume and Cano Melgoza. He also leaves his brother, Enrique, 8 Sisters, Guadalupe, Caritina, Elvira, Maria Luisa, Rita, Elvia, Carmela, and Esther, along with Numerous Grand Children and Great Grand Children.
Visitation will be held at the Healey Mortuary, Tuesday, September 8, 2015 from 1 - 9 PM.
A Rosary will be recited at the Mortuary Chapel, Tuesday at 7:00 PM.
Celebration of the Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Christ The King Catholic Church, 240 Calle Cebu in Salinas.
Burial will follow Services Wednesday at 2:30 PM at Fresno Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 175 S. Cornelia Ave., Fresno, CA 93706.
