James Goad Obituary
James Goad, 63, of Hillsville, passed away on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at his home. Mr. Goad was born in Carroll County to the late Dennis Elton and Ruby Easter Goad.
Survivors include his brother and sister-in-law, Randall and Derhonda Goad of Fancy Gap; sister and brother-in-law, Marie and Terry Horton of Hillsville; nieces and nephews, Steve and Deana Robinson, Michael David (Chad) Robinson, Robert and Sara Robinson, Kayla Amanda Vaughn, Casy Vaughn, Zackary and Ashley Goad, Kermit Hundley, Jessie Hundley; ten great nieces and nephews; and too many friends to name.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Rev. Norman Goad officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 until 11:00 AM prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family. A guestbook is available online by visiting www.vaughanguynnandmcgrady.com. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
