Nancy Elizabeth Thomas Goad, 45, of Woodlawn, passed away on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at her home. She was born in North Carolina to the late James June and Rachel Mae Reeves Thomas.
Survivors include her husband, Mike Goad of the home; daughters and sons-in-law, Kayla and Orlando Galineo of Arizona, Candance and Sean Hanks of Hillsville, and Theresa Goad of Woodlawn; brother, Wayne Thomas of Austinville; sister, Scarlet Sankie of Louisiana; grandchildren, Abbigail Hanks, Sean Hanks, Jr., Whitney Hanks, and Jessica Hanks; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Betty Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in the Laurel Fork Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 until 11:00 AM prior to the funeral service. A guestbook is available online by visiting www.vaughanguynnandmcgrady.com.
