Boyd Tuttle Obituary
Boyd U. Tuttle, 84, passed away peacefully Sunday, July 16, 2023, at home in Lebanon, CT surrounded by his family.
Boyd was a Life Member of Columbia Volunteer Fire Department with 67 years of service and Chief of the Department from 1975-1979. Boyd worked as a Lineman for 35 years, retiring from Northeast Utilities in 2002.
Calling hours will be from 6-9 pm this Friday, July 21st, at Columbia Volunteer Fire Department Rt 66, Columbia, CT. A memorial service is Saturday, July 22nd, 10 am, at Columbia Congregational Church, 325 Rt 87, followed by a time for fellowship at the CVFD. The interment will be held at the convenience of the family TBD.
In lieu of flowers donations in Boyd's memory to the Columbia Volunteer Fire Department, and/or Smilow Cancer Center at Yale New Haven Hospital.
