Catherine Wall Obituary

Catherine Wall, 74, passed away on September 28, 2021.

Katie was born on May 18, 1947, in Reynoldsville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Barilar and Madelyn Whitaker Barilar.

She is survived by her husband, Dr. Rod Wall, and her children, Stephanie and Erin Wall of Pittsburgh, PA, as well as her sister, Marie Bariliar Hamaker of Reynoldsville, PA.

Katie was a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University and was an English teacher near Hershey, PA. Katie adored her family and was a brilliant homemaker, mother, and wife. She was an avid reader and a talented writer who had a love of learning. She was a mother first and foremost. She loved to walk and cuddle her spoiled dogs Cupcake, Misty, and Riley. Katie was kind, empathic, and intelligent. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Services will be private for family and close friends.

In lieu of flowers, we ask for a donation in Catherine's name be made to a local food bank or animal shelter.

Arrangements entrusted to R.D. Copeland, Ltd, Irvine Chapel, Sewickley.
