Dolores Penvose Obituary

Dolores M. Penvose, 95, of Luthersburg, PA died Monday, November 11, 2024 at the DuBois Nursing Home.

Born on June 19, 1929, in Helvetia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Margaret (Getsy) Vilkinofsky.

On June 27, 1953, she married Orland O. Penvose. He preceded her in death on September 4, 2014.

Dolores retired from Rola-Jensen in DuBois, PA, and she was a lifelong member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in DuBois, PA.

She is survived by three nieces, Joan Vilkinofsky (Kathy Prowitt) of Georgetown, DE, Wanda Thomas of Punxsutawney, PA and Nancy Young (Michael) of Clermont, FL; one great-niece; two great-nephews; and numerous great-great nieces and great-great nephews.

Dolores was preceded in death by one brother, Bernard Vilkinofsky.

There will be no public visitation.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2024 at 11 a.m. from the chapel at St. Joseph Cemetery with Father John Malthaner officiating.

Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in DuBois, PA.

Memorial donations may be made to Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Parish, 116 S. State Street, Dubois, PA 15801.

The Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
