Frank Zimmerman Obituary
Born Aug. 24, 1966, in DuBois, Pa., he was the son of the late William J. Zimmerman Sr. and Thelma J. (Hartzfeld) Zimmerman.
He was married to Kelly Jo (Kennedy) Zimmerman. She survives.
Frank was a self-employed carpenter for many years.
He was a member of the Sandy Hose Co. #1 Fireman's Club, the Olympic Athletic Club and the Sykesville Eagles Aerie #4454. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Frank is survived by two children: Amber Zimmerman of Indiana, Pa., and Jonathan Zimmerman of DuBois, Pa.; two brothers, William Zimmerman and his wife, Cathy of DuBois, Pa. and Bryce Zimmerman and his wife, Rona of Falls Creek, Pa.; and three grandchildren, Colten Zimmerman, Jammal Higgins and Amya Higgins.
There will be no visitation.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 8, 2016, from the St. Luke's United Church of Christ with Pastor Barry Fillman officiating.
Memorials may be placed with St. Luke's United Church of Christ, 4229 Golden Yoke Road, Luthersburg, PA 15848 and/or Scrub Masters Hunting Club, Attn: Doug Bembenic, 1280 Behringer Hwy, DuBois, PA 15801.

Frank this is a big loss of friend to me.

As a little girl growing up I always looked at you like you were indestructible and nothing could ever stop you. You taught me right from wrong and how to stand for what I believed in. Though there were many times we didnt see eye to eye. I know no matter what you never stopped loving me. Words cant explain how much you will be missed. I love you dad.
