Mary Gilbert Obituary
Born on November 8, 1942, in Luthersburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Arville (Swartzlander) Hartzfeld.
On June 10, 1961, she married her beloved husband of 64 years, Charles L. Gilbert. He survives.
Mary retired from the Sweet Home School District as a bus driver after 30 years of service.
She is survived by her children, Richard Gilbert (late Ann Giuseppetti), Brenda Burow and her husband David, Sally Guiliani and her husband Stephen, and Jeffrey Gilbert and his wife Jennifer; seven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and one brother, Llyn Hatrzfeld; several nieces and nephews, family and friends.
Mary was preceded in death by one daughter, Janet Gilbert; sisters: Viola Miknis, Betty Price, Rebecca Spencer, Roberta Berger, and infant Helen; brothers, Robert, Howard, James, Glenn and infant George Hartzfeld.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 22, 2025 from 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc.
A funeral service will follow at 2:30 p.m. with Pastor Terry Felt officiating.
Burial will take place in Salem Lutheran Cemetery.
