Miles Gelnett Obituary
Born February 12, 1942, in DuBois, he was the son of the late Arthur B. and Elsie (Rudolph) Gelnett.
On October 12, 1968, he married Leah (Fuller) Gelnett at the Assembly of God Church in DuBois. She survives.
Miles graduated from the DuBois Area High School in 1961. He took electrical classes at Jeff Tech. Miles did masonry and construction work with his father before going to work for DuBrook. He later retired from H.R.I. Miles attended Home Camp Methodist Church and was always busy working around the house.
In addition to his wife, Miles is survived by two sisters, Marcia (Newell) Sprague, and Debbie (Paul) Blake, all of DuBois, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Miles was preceded in death by his sister, Yvonne Silvis.
Friends and family will be received Saturday, May 6, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. from the Adamson Funeral Chapel & Crematorium. Following the visitation, a casual "blue jeans" funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. from the funeral chapel with Rev. Nancy Shute officiating. Interment will be in Lakelawn Memorial Park.
Memorial donations may be made to the Home Camp Methodist Church, P.O. Box 81, Rockton, PA 15856.
