Paul Strawcutter Obituary
He was born in Punxsutawney on March 25, 1960, a son of Ethel Mae (Bouch) Strawcutter and the late Irvin Dorsey Strawcutter. His mother survives and resides in Punxsutawney.
Following graduation, he joined the United States Army and served during Desert Storm.
Paul worked installing cable for phone and internet services for Du-Com which later became Zito Media for nearly thirty years.
He was the former president of the Eagles Riders, a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #1231, Dixonville Moose, St Joseph's Polish Club and the Walston Club.
He enjoyed spending time with his companion, Susan Long.
Paul is survived by one daughter, Verna Bundy of Punxsutawney; his mother, Ethel Strawcutter; four grandchildren, Alexander Smith, Jordan Strawcutter, Damian Dickey and Spencer Bundy; two brothers, Bernard Strawcutter of McKees Rocks, and Irvin "JR" Strawcutter of Punxsutawney; three sisters, Debra Mano of Punxsutawney, Anna Foley and husband Bill of Reynoldsville, and Phyllis Quick of Punxsutawney; numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received on Thursday, July 28, 2022, from 4-8 p.m. at Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc., Punxsutawney.
A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 11 a.m. Friday.
Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill EUB, Gaskill Township. Military honors will be accorded by the Jefferson County Veterans Honor Guard.
