Rose Tinder Obituary

Rose M. Tinder, age 64, of Paradise Road, Punxsutawney, Pa., died Friday, Jan. 19, 2018, at the home of her daughter in DuBois, Pa.
Born on Feb. 15, 1953, in DuBois, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Herbert and June (Limerick) Farrell.
On March 12, 2004, she married Robert J. Tinder. He survives.
Rose was a past member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and loved to craft and sew.
She is survived by two children, Ronnette Pittsley and her husband, Thomas, of DuBois, Pa., and Dawn Marie Stover and her husband, Kyle, of Galeton, Pa.; four sisters: Carol Long of Curwensville, Pa., Jane (William) Huntington of Punxsutawney, Pa., Norma (Dale) Yingling of Cooks Forest, Pa., and Donna Lee (Tom) Richards of Summerville, Pa.; and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas and Herbert "Pete" Farrell; a brother-in-law, Donald Long; a niece and nephew.
There will be no public visitation.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 27, 2018, at 1 p.m. from the Big Run Volunteer Fire Department Hall.
The Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., DuBois, is in charge of arrangements.
