Shelly Spencer Obituary
She was born May 26, 1965, in Tucson, AZ, a daughter of the late Harry C. and Margaret A. (Blasko) Chilcote, Sr.
She is survived by her husband, Pastor Jerry L. Spencer, who she married September 10, 1982, in Mahaffey.
Surviving are two brothers, Harry C. (Cheryl) Chilcote, Jr. of New Stanton and Randy A. (Angel) Chilcote of Mahaffey; and a sister, Trudy J. (Ed) Hugill of Mahaffey; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Shelly was a graduate of Ace Christian Academy, Mahaffey. She assisted her husband as pastor's wife at Oasis Ministry, DuBois, including church secretary and Sunday School teacher. She had been employed as a seamstress for Kent Sportswear in Mahaffey. She volunteered as a dorm leader for the youth camps and as a cook at Calvary Chapel Church in Mahaffey and traveled to Mexico for many missions trips. She loved her family and all people, but most loved and was devoted to the Lord. She was a member of Oasis Ministry and Calvary Chapel Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant sister, Terry; and a sister, Sandra McLean.
Friends and family are invited to her viewing on Saturday, May 31, 2025, from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. funeral services at Oasis Ministry, DuBois. Services will be conducted by Pastor Dave Brady. Burial will be in New Washington Cemetery. Arrangements by McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow.
