Harrison Neel Obituary
Harrison Mark Neel, 59, of New Castle, died Tuesday, October 1, 2024.
He was born in New Castle on August 21, 1965 to Harrison T., Jr. and Genevieve (Favorite) Neel and lived most of his life in Wayne and Henry counties.
Mark was an avid NASCAR fan. He enjoyed fishing, camping and tinkering with cars. Mark was a loving father, husband and a great friend and always put the needs of other before his own.
Survivors include his mother, Genevieve Neel; his wife, Theresa Neel; 3 children, Andrew Lee Johnson, Mark Thomas Neel (Heather) and Krystal Perkins; 8 grandchildren, Isaiah Johnson, Braiden Perkins, Braylee Perkins, Bentley Perkins, Breeah Perkins, Andrew Neel, Lilly Neel and Hunter Neel; a great granddaughter, Zayvea Perkins; a sister, Laura Clark; a brother-in-law, Jeff Johnson and 2 sisters-in-law, Robin Reed (Todd) and April Johnson.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harry Neel; a granddaughter, Addison Neel; his father-in-law, Paul Johnson and his mother-in law, Melanie Johnson.
Visitation will be 4 to 6 PM on Thursday, October 10, at Culberson Funeral Home, Hagerstown. Services will follow at 6 PM.
