Timothy Alan Wyatt, age 34, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2025. He was born on May 10, 1990, in New Castle, to Mark Wyatt and Cathy (Leisure) Shelton.
Tim was a 2008 graduate of New Castle Chrysler High School then enlisted in the Marine Corps, serving one tour in Afghanistan. Tim loved his family, children and friends. He was always the life of the party. He was great with kids and would enjoy rough housing with them when they were all together. He enjoyed taking his children to the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame.
Tim was an avid hunter, enjoyed cooking with his smoker and sports, including his IU/Purdue rivalry with his dad. He also thoroughly enjoyed watching his kids, niece, and nephews play sports. Tim would always be willing to help anyone and was the first to get his hands dirty. He was an honest and always truthful person. He enjoyed playing Madden with his boys even if he couldn't win.
He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Marlene Wyatt; children, Tanner, Cooper and Lylah Wyatt; his father, Mark Wyatt; mother, Cathy Shelton (Roy Pribble); mother-in-law, Mary Voiles; sister Jessica Overman, nephews, Carson, Bryce and Connor; a niece, Abigail; special friends, Jeff and Stephanie also Josh and Jordan; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, David and Judy Leisure; paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Jean Wyatt and an uncle, Daryl Leisure; cousin Michael Wyatt; grandma Nova Edmonds.
A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 25 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Pastor Bill Palmer officiating. A visitation will be held from 12-8 p.m., Monday, March 24 at the funeral home.
