Antonio Gonzalez Obituary
Vineland
Antonio R. Gonzalez, a longtime resident of Vineland, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 9, 2016. Antonio was born in Utuado, Puerto Rico to the late Gilbert N. Gonzalez and recently deceased, Inez M. Gonzalez.
Antonio was a graduate of Vineland High School, Class of 1967. He earned his bachelor's degree in political science from Concord College in West Virginia.
He continued to follow his interests in the field and studied at Rutgers University Law School in Newark, New Jersey and completed his Juris Doctorate degree with high honors from the University of Puerto Rico Law School.
He loved nature and animals, listening to classical music, and appreciated beautiful works of art and sculpture.
He is survived by his sisters; Nilda I. Velez (Jose), Carmen E. Ostroff (Augustus), Gloria E. Myerson (Larry), Ivette M. Gonzalez, and brother, Gilbert Jr.(Gabriella); sons, Jose and Israel, and grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and many friends.
He was a loving son and brother and will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends. In the end he searched for God and found him and now rests in his loving arms and eternal glory.
There will be a viewing from 9am to 10am on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 followed by a funeral service at 10am officiated by Pastor Dan Cooper at
DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 South Lincoln Ave., Vineland, NJ 08361. Interment will be private. Memories, thoughts and prayers may be extended to the family by visiting dlfuneral.com.
