Gloria Jones Obituary
Vineland - Gloria Rose (Bagiotti) Jones left this life on December 10, 2020 at her home in Vineland, NJ. Gloria was born on May 1st, 1923 in Landisville, NJ to Michael and Jane (Calano) Bagiotti. She has been a resident of Vineland NJ and Hollywood Florida since 1951. Gloria was active in the community having served on many committees at the Sacred Heart Church and School. She devoted her life to her family and was an excellent mother and spent her time also travelling and learning new cultures. She travelled to Europe often. Gloria was employed by Owens-Illinois and Automotive Parts Co. after graduating from Vineland High School. She received many accolades including 'Most charming Person' from her graduating classmates and was voted 'Queen of the Roses' at an annual charity Ball. She is survived by her two children, Dr. Patrice Anne Nuq and her son-in-law Didier Nuq of St Cergue Switzerland; and her son, Kevin H. Jones and her daughter-in-law, Patricia (Mireles) of Dania Beach, Florida. She has three beautiful grandchildren, Viviane Nuq, and Matthew and Cammie Jones. She is also survived by her sister-in law, Charlotte Bagiotti of Hollywood, Florida and numerous nieces and nephews. She would like a special mention of her great nephew, Stephen Turner (Bagiotti) who filled a special place in her heart. Also with special mentions are her nieces, Linda Jones (Grecco) and her daughter and her nephews, Dale Jones (Carol) and Larry Jones (Bonny). Gloria was predeceased by her husband, Henry "Bud" Jones; her sisters, Mary Patch Lolli and Julia Ackwell, and her brothers, Frank and Michael "Mickey" Bagiotti. A private entombment was held at Sacred Heart Garden Mausoleum. ARRANGEMENTS are under the supervision of Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland, NJ 08360.
