Jack Sheppard Obituary
AGE: 77 • Millville
Jack E. Sheppard 77, of Millville died Friday evening at the home of his son in Vineland. Born in Fairmount, WV, he grew up in Haleyville and resided in Millville the past 43 years. Jack worked on the oyster boats for many years and retired from Joffe Lumber in Vineland. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Surviving is his wife, Charlotte Johnson Sheppard, children, Johnny Sheppard and his wife Marisol, Michael Johnson, Linda Muse and her fiancé Shawn Brantley, and Jackie Miller and her husband Leonard, 9 grandchildren, Kelley Muse, Anthony Muse, RaZanae Brantley, Apreea Johnson, Michael Johnson, Christian Sheppard, Jonathan Sheppard, Janessa Alicea, Antonio Alicea and 5 great grandchildren, Layla Killpatrick, Charlotte Killpatrick, Jack Killpatrick, Amir Bonds, and Anthony Muse, III.
Funeral services will be held at the Shiloh Baptist Church, 2411 Memorial Ave., Port Norris on Friday, October 17, 2014 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Steve Sheppard officiating. Interment will be in Haleyville Cemetery. Viewing will be held Friday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Memorial donations may be made to Vistas Hospice, 521 Fellowship Rd. Suite 110, Mt. Laurel, NJ 08054. To the Jack Sheppard Family:
Our sincere sympathy to all of you in the loss of Jack.
I was Jack's friend and classmate in the upper grades at Port Norris School.
My husband Jim and his brother Joby (deceased) were pals there as well.
My special memory is of Jack singing with Mrs. Peoples, our music teacher.
