Joseph Flickinger Obituary
AGE: 63 • Millville
Joseph E. Flickinger, age 63 of Millville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at home while under the care of his family and Hospice.
Joe was born and raised in Millville. He was the son of Edmond and Mary and the father of Patricia Northup and Daniel Flickinger, both of Keokuk, Iowa.
Joe was a graduate of Millville High School and Stockton State College. He was a retired CPA. He was Past Grand Knight of Millville Knights of Columbus Council # 1778. Joe was also a member of Parish of All Saints at St. Mary Magdalen Church, Millville Elks and American Legion, and the North Italy Club. He was an avid Green Bay Packers fan and a stockholder of the team. He traveled to Lambeau Field many times to watch his Packers play.
In addition to his parents and children, Joe is survived by three brothers, Thomas and Charles of Millville, Kevin (Vivian) of Mays Landing; a sister, Christine Daughters (Alan), son-in-law, Shawn Northup and daughter-in-law, Melissa Beebe Flickinger, three grandchildren, MacKenzie Northup, Tyler and Madelynn Flickinger all of Keokuk, Iowa.
Joe was predeceased by his wife LuAnn DuBois Flickinger and two sisters, Marianne and Patricia.
Relatives and friends will be received on Saturday, July 15th from 9:30 am to 11:15 am at the Barr Funeral Home, 2104 East Main Street in Millville. A funeral mass will follow at Parish of All Saints, St. Mary Magdalen Church, 621 Dock Street, Millville, at 12 Noon. Burial will be private. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.barrfuneral home.net.
