Joseph Sauro Obituary
AGE: 67 • Millville and formerly of Vineland
Joseph N. Sauro, 67, of Millville and formerly of Vineland, passed away suddenly on January 3, 2017. A lifelong resident of Vineland, he was born to the late Dominick and Katherine Sauro. Joe served with the US Marines during the Vietnam War. He worked for the Manischewitz Food Distributors in Vineland for 30 years first as a forklift operator before becoming a supervisor. Joe was a member of the American Legion Post # 82 in Millville, The Vineland Recreation Club and the North Italy Club. Joe was known for his sense of humor and his loyalty as an Eagles fan.
He is survived by his sons & their wives, Joey & Mona Sauro and Dominick & Amy Sauro; sons, Nicky Spinelli and Vinny Sauro; four grandchildren; sisters, Lelah Solo and Loni Mangine; sister & brother-in-law, Brenda & Frank Meneghetti and many nieces & nephews. Joe was also predeceased by his sisters, Anita Alper & Rosie Sauro.
A funeral home visitation will be held on Wednesday from 1pm to 3pm followed by a funeral service at 3pm from Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland. Final Disposition will be private at the convenience of the family.

Joey, Dominick, Nicky, Vinny, Lelah, Loni, Brenda and the entire Sauro family, my thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. Joe was always one of my favorite people and I have so many stories of our time hanging out together, We always had a blast and there was never a dull moment! I will forever hear Joe saying, "Imagine That!" and "I Ain't Bashful and I'm Too Old To Blush!" Rest In Peace My Friend!

I'm so upset to have to be writing on here. It makes me even more upset to have taken time for granted. How complacent we become when you think the evitable is inevitable. I'm so sorry Vinny, Joey, Dominick, Nicky, and everyone else broken right now. I hope that with time everyone can heal as much as possible. My heart is so sad and heavy. I only have good memories.. LITERALLY eating pasta every other day! Making sure we ALWAYS had what we wanted. The farm house and picking fresh green beans and peas! Finding out I was never in a limo and taking me on my first limo ride just to go get ice cream! Good times <\3

He was always the life of any gathering and always made you smile and laugh for he had a funny sense of humor. I will miss that and him singing Frank Sinatra. RIP Joe till we meet again.
