Mary Grace Vasile, 93, of Vineland died Friday, July 16, 2010, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Estell Manor, she was a lifelong resident of the Estell Manor and Vineland areas.
She was employed by DeRossi Clothing, and later Crown Clothing in quality control. Mary enjoyed playing bingo, reading, doing word puzzles, camping with her late husband, Louis, and working in her flower and vegetable gardens. Most of all, she enjoyed being with her family. She was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union.
She was predeceased by her husband, Louis Vasile; three brothers, Phil, Sam and Joseph Montesanto; and three sisters, Mary Fontana, Millie Zolda and Rosie Frandino.
She is survived by one son, Louis Vasile Jr. and wife Claire of Pittsgrove; one daughter, Pauline Volk of Vineland; eight grandchildren, Louis Vasile and wife Deborah, Alice Wenger and husband David, William T. Vasile and wife Kimberly, Susan Vasile , Albert Volk III, Louis P. Volk and wife Deborah, Joseph Volk, and Scott A. Volk and wife Kim; 11 great-grandchildren, Kathryn Pierson and husband Ryan, Louis J. Vasile IV, Robert D. Vasile, Mary Vasile, Lloyd D. Wenger, Gabriella D. Vasile, Alexander R. Vasile, Melissa Volk, and Michael, Scott Jr. and Steven Volk; and two great-great-grandchildren, Joshua R. Pierson and baby Taylor Pierson, who is on the way.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 1019 E. Landis Ave., Vineland. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery. Friends will be received from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Any one who knows my Grammy will know that 93 years with us was not long enough. She was a very special lady who loved her family. I will cherish the time I had with her, especially being able to care for her as she prepared to move on to a better place. I will carry a part of her in my heart forever.
