Norman Lore Obituary
AGE: 70 • Commercial Township
Norman Harry Lore, 70, of the Buckshutem section of Commercial Twp. died Saturday afternoon at home. Born and raised in Millville, he was the son of the late Harry and Doris Day Lore and the husband of the late Rose Robinson Lore. Norm had resided in Commercial Township the past 34 years.
He was a US Navy Veteran and served during the Vietnam War. Norm was a mason for over 30 years and was a member of the Bricklayers Association. He was a member of the Buckshutem United Methodist Church. Norm loved fishing and could often be found at the Longreach Marina. Norm could also be found at Jim's Lunch or one of his other favorite spots enjoying breakfast with his close friends.
Surviving are his children, Sherry Lynn Edwards (Tracy) of Heislerville, Brandi Lore (Frank Phillips) of Vineland and Joshua Lore, grandchildren, Rian Gressman, and Joshua Lore, Jr., and his aunt Alice Todd.
Funeral Services will be held at the Hoffman Funeral Homes 2507 High Street Port Norris on Saturday March 25, 2017 at 11:00 AM with Rev. James Peterson officiating. Interment will be in Haleyville Cemetery. Viewings will be held Friday from 6:00 to 9:00 PM and Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
Memorial donations may be made to the Buckshutem United Methodist Church 1600 Buckshutem Rd. Millville, NJ 08332.

R.i.p norm.. he would always visit me every morni g when i worked at longreach with heidi an he would always joke with me that he was my secret dad.. something we always laughed about. He loved fishing n heidi.. he was a great family friend and he n his wife use yto babysit me . May u be at peace. I will greatly miss you norm..

My sympathy to Norms friends and family. Met him many years ago at Longreach Marina. Loved sharing fishing trips and stories with him. Loved him bringing Heidi to see me at work where I would give her treats of freshly cooked sausage a few times a month. Will sadly miss him and his excitement with the beginning of each fishing season. Will miss his, "when we going?" each summer. Godspeed and good fishing my friend.
