I met Max many years ago through my work with the county recreation commission and Max was a great help with our golf tournaments. He and I shared many fond memories of those days. Deepest sympathy to Mrs. Pettit and family.
May he rest in peace.

Dear Pettit Family,
My heartfelt condolences on the loss of Max for it is indeed a loss for Millville too. I was a lowly freshman when he played football - he was always tough, fair and fun...and now the Millville all-star team has one less starter. May he rest in peace.
