Robert Saul Obituary

Robert R. "Bob" Saul Jr., 47, of Mays Landing died Friday, Feb. 3, 2012, after an extended battle with leukemia, at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center.

Born and raised in Millville, Bob had lived in Mays Landing for more than 20 years. He was a graduate of Millville Senior High School, Class of 1982. Bob had been employed by the state of New Jersey, working at Woodbine Developmental School for more than 25 years as a cottage training technician.

Bob's greatest love was his granddaughter, Lucy. He also enjoyed his two dogs, Chickie and Chiro. Bob enjoyed the time he spent with family and friends. He also enjoyed going out to dinner and having his favorite dish, steak.

He is survived by father, Robert "Bob" Saul Sr. and wife Debbie of New Port Richey, Fla.; mother, Brenda Marshall and husband Rick of Millville; son, Robert Saul III and wife Patty of West Virginia; brothers, Michael Saul and Mark Saul of Millville; sister, Michele Adams and husband Eric of Pittsgrove; granddaughter, Lucy Saul; grandmother, Mildred Madkiff of Millville; niece, Nikki Adams; nephew, Deric Adams; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Bob was predeceased by his mother, Carole.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Rocap Shannon Memorial Funeral Home of Millville. Burial will follow in the Greenwood Memorial Park Cemetery. Relatives and friends will be received at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, and again from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday.

Memorial contributions may be made to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 216 Haddon Ave., Suite 328, Westmont, NJ 08108.
