Vanessa Fisher, 45, of Upper Deerfield Twp. died on Sunday, May 28, 2017 at Fox Chase Cancer Center in Cheltenham, PA following an extended illness.

Vanessa was born in Wilmington, DE and was adopted at age two by the late Calvin and Geraldine Cogdill. She was the wife of John Fisher. Vanessa had lived in Newport, TN briefly as a child but had been a resident of Cumberland County for most of her life.

She had been most recently employed by Pine Ridge Investments in Millville as a legal secretary. She also had been previously employed by the Law Office of Robert W. Sebera in Bridgeton as a legal secretary and was a licensed realtor for Gazzara Realty. Vanessa was known for baking great cookies and enjoyed traveling. She was an animal lover, especially dogs.

In addition to her husband, John, she is survived by; two children, Andrew Tarallo of West Deptford and Ashley Tarallo of Millville and three siblings, Jenilyn Cogdill of Commercial Twp., Vincent Cogdill of Commercial Twp. and James Cogdill of Smyrna, DE. Vanessa was preceded in death by; her parents, Calvin and Geraldine Cogdill and a brother, John Cogdill.

Memorial services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Saturday, June 10th at 12 Noon. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 11 AM to 12 Noon prior to the services.
